Key specs and characteristics:

8' length
8/9 weight line rating
4-piece construction for portability
Composite/graphite matrix blank
Medium-fast to fast action
Fighting butt for larger fish
Intended for bass, pike, salmon, carp, and saltwater species.

What anglers tend to like:

Very inexpensive entry point into heavier fly setups
Durable enough for loaner/travel use
Easy-loading action that many beginners find forgiving
Good value for freshwater species and lure fishing for pike and heavier saltwater species such as pollack and sea trout

A few practical notes:

• An 8/9wt is overkill for small trout or pike, but excellent for fishing popping lures, larger snake lures for Pike, Pollock and other larger predators. A great rod to have in windy conditions to punch the line out.
• The 4-piece design makes it easy to travel with or keep in a vehicle.

Supplied in a strong plastic see through tube.
