Climax fly line backing offers a high-strength, low-diameter Dacron, providing maximum reel capacity and strong resistance against large fish runs for freshwater and saltwater angling. 

Key features include micro thinness for more line on the reel, UV/oil resistance, smooth casting, and abrasion resistance. Fly line backing is an essential component for bulk and shock absorption when a fish runs and takes your fly line off your reel.

Supplied on a 100m spool the Orange Micro backing has a breaking strain of 20lb

Please note that these spools are stored on grid ball and the centre hole will be used on the display pegs hence the labelling will have a hole. 

As with all our other products these spools will be sent out on the same working day as your purchase if ordered and paid for before 3pm, Monday to Friday inclusive. They are advertised with a post and VAT inclusive price using Royal Mail postage, which also has a choice of options at the checkout.
