The NomadUK Sportsman Jacket is a substantial, traditionally styled fishing and country jacket designed to provide excellent protection and plenty of practical storage for long days outdoors.

Constructed with a 100% polyamide shell featuring NomadUK Ventflex breathable technology, the Sportsman offers a longer protective cut than a dedicated wading jacket, making it particularly well suited to bank fishing, game fishing and general country use in changeable weather.

The jacket features a permanently attached hood with a protective peak, complete with drawcord adjustment to help achieve a comfortable fit when conditions deteriorate. A further drawcord at the waist allows the jacket to be adjusted to suit the wearer and helps reduce draughts in colder conditions.

One particularly useful feature is the double-cuff arrangement. Neoprene inner storm cuffs provide additional protection around the wrists, while the outer fabric cuffs are adjustable and secured with Velcro. It's a practical arrangement when fishing in wet and windy conditions.

Two generously sized breast pockets provide easily accessible storage, with D-ring attachment points positioned alongside the pocket area for attaching suitable fishing accessories.

There is plenty of additional storage inside. The Sportsman has two smaller zipped internal pockets, including one neatly positioned between the main front zip and the padded storm cover, together with a large internal storage pocket incorporated into the lower section of the jacket.

A substantial storm-protected front closure adds further protection from the elements, while the combination of breathable construction, adjustable hood and waist, storm cuffs and useful storage makes this a very practical jacket for the serious outdoor angler.

The Sportsman is a particularly good choice for someone wanting a fuller-length fishing jacket rather than the short cut of a traditional wading jacket.
