Line Trays
Fly Fishing Line Trays & Stripping Baskets
Keeping your fly line under control can make a considerable difference to your fishing, particularly when you're wading, fishing from the bank or working in windy conditions.
At Astute Angling, our selection of fly fishing line trays and stripping baskets is designed to help anglers manage loose fly line, reduce tangles and enjoy smoother, more efficient casting.
Anyone who has spent time fly fishing will know how frustrating it can be when a perfectly good cast is ruined by a loose line catching around your boots, clothing, vegetation or anything else within reach!
A good line tray provides a convenient place to collect your retrieved fly line, keeping it organised and ready for the next cast. Many designs feature raised fingers or cones that help prevent coils of line from tangling together.
Line trays are particularly useful when fishing from the shoreline, wading in rivers and estuaries, or saltwater fly fishing where loose line can easily become tangled or affected by moving water.
Whether you're casting into a strong breeze, fishing from a rocky shoreline or simply looking for a tidier and more comfortable way to manage your fly line, a practical stripping basket can be a worthwhile addition to your fishing equipment.
Explore our range of fly fishing line trays and stripping baskets and spend less time sorting out tangles and more time fishing.
